Lorraine Elizabeth Baa has a heart to help and serve others in need. She has worked for over 15 years in Cancer on both sides. She was instrumental in leading a team to raise over 5 million dollars to assist in the construction of the only Cancer Institute in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Today, that building bears the name of Charlotte Kimelman whose husband, Henry was a strong force in contributing financially to the people of U.S. Virgin Islands as well as the Schneider Regional Medical Center. As an Executive Director for a non-profit organization, her experience in supplying financial assistance to patients was helpful in making their journey less burdensome.
One year after retiring she was diagnosed with a rare type of cancer which gave her a new purpose in life. Despite her medical challenges, she continues to encourage others by instilling in them hope and reminding them that Quitting is not an option!
Her expertise in Sales, Public Relations, Public speaking and Cancer advocacy gives her the tools to work diligently in making Lorraine Baa International, a 501c3 charity organization, a success. She is an author, songwriter, singer and mother to a son who presently serves our country in the Airforce.
